
Winona Bontrager, L.PN, LMT, Owner/Director - Winona, owner and director
of LSM, is a 1986 graduate of the Florida School of Massage; she brings 21 years
of massage therapy experience to the school. Winona is currently the AMTA
Council of Schools, Board President; this is her sixth year as a member of the
Board. The culture of the school reflects her core values: a sense of
humor, balance in life, always learning, and respecting others as spirit, mind
and body.

Camille Baughman, BS, LMT - Camille brings her background in teaching
and psychology to the classroom as she invites students to become more
self-aware on their journey toward their new roles as massage therapists.
A 1986 graduate of the Florida School of Massage, she owns a large private
practice in Carlisle. Camille is currently studying for her Masters Degree
in Applied Healing Arts at the Tai Sophia Institute in Baltimore.

Tom Ripple, BA, LMT -
Tom graduated from the Florida School of
Massage in 1986 and takes an innovative approach to the instruction and
practice of polarity and connective tissue therapy. His focus is on
combining both types of bodywork to promote greater awareness of the
interaction between psychological and physical patterns. Tom comes to us
from Athens, OH where he has a thriving private practice. He also enjoys spending
time with his family and practicing yoga.

Emmett Geesaman, CMT, NMT -
Emmett brings a love of physical fitness to
his teaching of neuromuscular therapy and kinesiology. He began his studies in neuromuscular therapy
in 1992 when he graduated from LSM. Emmett
specializes in soft tissue trauma and co-owns L & E Massage Therapy
Center with offices in Ephrata and Lancaster. He enjoys spending time at the beach with family, honing his green thumb, and is
also a Jeep
enthusiast.

Joel Menges, BA, CMT -
Joel is a 1993 graduate of LSM. In addition
to teaching massage therapy and practicing at Queen Street Holistic Health, he has spent many years in the mental health field and ten years in
ministry. Joel brings much knowledge and creativity to teaching anatomy and
physiology and is also our student clinic supervisor. When not in the
classroom, he is most likely to be found golfing or at a Blues Festival.

Kelly L. Givens, IIR, PRA, CMT -
Kelly has been a certified reflexologist
since 1996. Committed to staying current in this specialty, she continues
to expand her knowledge of the body. Kelly completed the massage therapy
program at LSM in 2001 and maintains a private practice in Bainbridge. She
takes time to enjoy Bikram Yoga and watching her sons compete in the
sports of wrestling and roller-hockey.

Mike L. Walters, LMT:
Mike received his massage
training at The Alternative Conjunction School of Massage in 1994 and his
license through the State of Florida in 1995. He brings his
specialized education and experience to our students in teaching sports
massage. Mr. Walters maintains a practice in Camp Hill, PA
focusing on the needs of the completing athlete. He has traveled
extensively to serve athletes at National and International venues.

Lisa Vigilante, CMT -
Lisa graduated from LSM in 1992 and is
co-owner of L & E Massage Therapy with offices in Ephrata and Lancaster.
Lisa was our evening Program Director for several years and continues to fill
staffing needs as they arise.

Rozella Bontrager AA, CMT -
Rozella is the office manager at LSM.
She completed the Massage Therapy program in 1999 and practices at Queen
Street Holistic Health. In
addition to work, Rozella enjoys yoga, hiking, and singing harmony with her
musical friends.
Adjunct Faculty
Eileen Cristina CMP, AT Eileen comes in for a one-day workshop each term to teach the basic concepts of aromatherapy. She has been utilizing aromatherapy in her massage practice for seven years and brings a variety of essential oils to facilitate experiential learning.
Ephrata Community Hospital Supplies us with instructors in CPR and First Aid. This takes two days of class time and allows our students to receive this necessary certification on-site while attending our school.
